District Meeting

The Northern Lights District meeting 2014 was held in Lodge Room “B” at Freemasons’ Hall (Central Masonic Temple) in Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, October 4, 2014.

An education presentation was delivered on “Population Trends and Generational Theory and Their Effects In Our Lodges” with some good discussion from the floor.

The meeting ran smoothly and a well known brother from Evergreen Lodge No. 166 was acclaimed as the DDGM-Elect for the 2015-16 year.

Schedule:

10:00 AM – Registration Opens

11:00 AM – Education Presentation – “Population Trends and Generational Theory and their Affects on our Lodges”

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:30 PM – District Meeting and Election (1 candidate)
Minutes, Memorial, District Reports, Lodge Reports, Election

All Master Masons of district lodges can vote.

Edmonton Queen Riverboat Dinner & Cruise

20086029 016On Sunday July 14, 2013 the Northern Lights District will be having an evening of fellowship aboard the Edmonton Queen. There are at the moment 50 seats reserved on the boat. The evening starts with Boarding at 5:30pm, Dinner Buffet at 6:30pm and at 7:30pm a Cruise on the North Saskatchewan River. Please reserve your tickets with Kenn Culbertson as soon as possible, they go fast. Payment and Reservations for the Cruise must be made before Saturday June 30, 2013. This function is open to all Masons, Family and Friends. Cost for the Evening is $55.00 per person,Tax and Gratuity Included.

Lodge Officer Training Program

The Grand Lodge of Alberta is conducting a Lodge Officer Training Program over the next three months of 2013.

ALL LODGE OFFICERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.  Even if you’ve been an officer for a while, you will find these sessions worthwhile.

Session 1:  Sunday, January 13, 2013, 9:00 am – 4:00pm, Freemasons’ Hall, Edmonton — POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Session 2:  Sunday, February 17, 2013, 9:00 am – 4:00pm, Freemasons’ Hall, Edmonton
